Description
Traditional Processing, Exquisite Flavor
Dong Ding is processed using time-tested, traditional methods. Each step is monitored by an experienced tea master. During indoor withering, the tea leaves go through alternating steps of tossing and resting, until they are fermented about 25%. Roasting lasts at least 8 hours to create a special floral fragrance and sweetly lingering, fruity flavor.
Authentic Tea Garden
Our Dong Ding Oolong comes from that historic region, Dong Ding Mountain, where the tea garden is at a high altitude of 800 meters.
History of Dong Ding Oolong
Over 100 years ago, Chinese oolong tea plants were introduced to Dong Ding Mountain in Taiwan. Dong Ding was the first oolong tea to be grown in Taiwan, and the first Taiwanese oolong that became popular around the world.
